Katsuhiko Suganuma is an associate professor at the Global Education & Intercultural Advancement Center of Oita University, Japan. Prior to his current position, he was a lecturer in the School of Humanities at the University of Tasmania, Australia (2014-2024). He has written about queer cultures of Japan and elsewhere.
